Privacy Policy — WRU
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how dbandsolution ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information in the WRU mobile app and its related services (the "Service"). The Service turns meeting recordings into minutes and action items, and turns site photos and voice notes into work reports.
- Operator: dbandsolution, 4F 401-389A, 79 Gimpohangang 9-ro, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea
- Privacy Officer: CHANGHOON KIM (Project Manager), boyds79@gmail.com
We process personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and, for users in the Philippines, the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what the Service needs to record, organize and report your work.
| Category | What it includes | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email address, job title, organization name, role in the app | You, or your organization's administrator |
| Meeting audio | Audio recordings of meetings you start in the app | Your device microphone |
| Transcripts and minutes | Text converted from audio, speaker labels, timestamps, extracted action items, minutes you create | Generated by the Service from your audio and your edits |
| Site reports | Voice notes, their transcripts, photos you attach, location you describe (for example floor and zone), linked tasks | You |
| Tasks | Task titles, details, owners, due dates, status, progress history | You, your meetings and your site reports |
| Attendee names | Names or job titles of meeting attendees you enter | You |
We do not collect your precise GPS location, contacts or browsing history, and the app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. Deadline reminders are scheduled on your device and are not sent through a server. Photos you take in the app are also saved to an album on your phone named after your project; that copy stays on your device and is controlled by you.
3. How we use information
We use your information to provide the Service and for no unrelated purpose.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Create and manage your account | Performance of a contract with you |
| Transcribe audio, write minutes, extract action items, write reports and translate them between Korean and English | Performance of a contract; your consent for audio |
| Show tasks, reports and progress to people in your organization who have access | Performance of a contract; your organization's legitimate interest |
| Show deadline reminders on your device | Consent (you can turn reminders off) |
| Keep the Service secure and prevent misuse | Legitimate interest |
| Comply with law, court orders and lawful requests | Legal obligation |
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your recordings, transcripts or photos for advertising. We do not use them to train AI models, and we use AI providers whose commercial terms do not allow training on customer data.
4. AI processing and service providers
Audio, transcripts and report text are processed by third-party services to turn speech into text, summarize meetings and translate reports. These providers act on our instructions under their data processing terms.
| Provider | What it does | Data it receives | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud Speech-to-Text (Google LLC) | Converts audio to text; audio is copied to a temporary Google Cloud Storage bucket and deleted after processing | Meeting audio, voice notes | United States |
| Anthropic Claude API (Anthropic PBC) | Writes minutes, extracts action items, structures reports, translates | Transcripts, report text | United States |
| Supabase (Supabase Inc.) | Stores data and files, user sign-in, runs the Service | All Service data | India (Mumbai region) |
AI output can contain mistakes. Always review minutes, action items and reports before you send them to anyone.
5. Who can see your information
- People in your organization. Minutes, tasks and completed site reports are visible to members of your organization's workspace according to their role. For example, a manager or executive role can see reports and task status of the people they supervise.
- People you share with. When you tap "Copy for KakaoTalk" or share a report, you choose where the text goes. Once sent, that copy is handled under the other app's own privacy policy.
- Service providers listed in section 4, only to run the Service.
- Authorities, when required by law, regulation or a valid legal order.
- A successor company, if the Service is merged or sold. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We do not share personal information with anyone else.
6. How long we keep information
Audio files are deleted automatically after 7 days; text records stay until you or your organization delete them.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Meeting audio and voice-note audio | 7 days after recording, then deleted automatically |
| Transcripts, minutes, tasks, site reports, report photos | Until you delete them, your organization deletes them, or your account is deleted |
| Account information | Until your account is deleted |
| Backups | Overwritten within 30 days after deletion from the live system |
When you delete your account, your account, tasks, site reports, photos and all audio files are deleted immediately. Records that belong to your organization's workspace (for example minutes and transcripts of meetings you recorded) may be kept by the organization, with your name replaced by "탈퇴한 사용자" (Former member).
7. Recording other people
You must tell everyone in a meeting that it is being recorded, and get their agreement, before you start recording. Philippine law (Republic Act No. 4200, the Anti-Wiretapping Act) restricts recording private conversations without the consent of all parties.
- The app shows a reminder each time you start a recording.
- Do not record people who have not agreed.
- Attendees who are not app users can ask you, or us at boyds79@gmail.com, to delete a recording or transcript that contains their voice or words.
8. Your rights and choices
You can delete your account and its data at any time, inside the app or on the web.
| Right | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Delete your account and data | In the app: 마이 (My) → 회원 탈퇴 (Delete account). On the web: meetinglog.hey-driver.com/delete-account |
| Download your data | 마이 (My) → 내 데이터 다운로드 (Download my data). You receive your transcripts, minutes, tasks and reports as a file |
| Delete a single meeting | 마이 (My) → 녹취록 로그 (Transcript log) → open the meeting → 삭제 (Delete) |
| Correct your information | Edit minutes, tasks and reports directly in the app, or ask your organization's administrator |
| Withdraw consent | Turn off reminders in 마이 (My) → 기한 알림, or stop using recording features |
| Ask what we hold, or object to processing | Email boyds79@gmail.com. We reply within 10 days |
| Complain | Korea: Personal Information Protection Commission (pipc.go.kr), Privacy Infringement Report Center (118). Philippines: National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) |
If your account is managed by your organization, some requests may need to go through your organization's administrator. We will help you reach them.
9. Security, transfers and other terms
- Security. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Each organization's data is separated by access rules in the database, and audio files are private to the person who recorded them. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the competent authorities (the Personal Information Protection Commission of Korea and, where applicable, the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines) as the law requires.
- International transfers. The providers in section 4 store or process data outside Korea and the Philippines (India and the United States). See the Korean version of this policy for the details required by Korean law (recipient, country, items, timing and method of transfer). We rely on their contractual commitments to protect it to a standard at least equal to the applicable law.
- Children. The Service is for work use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
- Changes. We will post changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date. For important changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect.
